Mental health is not only interconnected with but often the root cause of substance use disorders. Because of the lack of treatment services in Jefferson County, new, existing, or expanding programs that will allow more people to seek treatment and recovery are vital to improving the mental health landscape of our county. You will see that Bethany Legacy Foundation is seeking to impact mental health and substance abuse this year through our partnerships, our funding, and our activities.
