BETHANY LEGACY COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS

Bethany Legacy Foundation is seeking feedback to help shape the focus of future work we do to improve the lives of Jefferson County residents. We are seeking participants like you for half-day working sessions designed to deepen our understanding of residents’ health needs by focus area (youth, adults, and seniors). The insights from these sessions will be analyzed and will inform key action plans and priority areas for our foundation. Your firsthand experience and insights are invaluable in shaping effective approaches to promote the health, education, and overall well-being of Jefferson County youth,adults, and seniors.

Strong Youth | July 16, 2024, 8:00am – 12:00pm

This working session on July 16, 2024 will be aimed at enhancing our collective efforts to support and nurture young people in our community.

We are defining ‘Youth’ as the following:
Infant to Pre-school: Ages 0-5
K-8: Ages 6-12
Highschool: Ages 13-18

If you work directly with this population in any of the following capacities, your expertise is invaluable: Prenatal care, Pediatric care, Childcare, Education (Pre-K & Elementary), Education (Middle School/Junior High), Education (High School), Mental health, Social services , Coaching and/or other volunteer positions.

Your firsthand experience and insights are invaluable in shaping effective approaches to promote the health, education, and overall well-being of Jefferson County youth.

Empowered Adults | July 16, 2024, 1:00pm – 5:00pm

This working session on July 16, 2024 will be aimed at enhancing our collective efforts to support adults in our community.

We are defining ‘Adults’ as the following:
Younger Adults: Ages 26-40
Established Adults: Ages 40-64

If you work directly with this population in any of the following capacities, your expertise is invaluable: Education (post-secondary & adult), Workforce development/Recruiting, Healthcare, Mental health, Rehabilitation/Recovery, and Social Services.

Your firsthand experience and insights will aid us in shaping effective approaches to promote the health, education, and overall well-being of Jefferson County adults.

Stable Seniors | July 17, 2024, 8:00am – 12:00pm

This working session on July 17, 2024 will be aimed at enhancing our collective efforts to support senior adults in our community.

We are defining ‘Seniors’ as the following:
Active Seniors: Ages 65-80
Higher-need Seniors: Ages 81+

If you work directly with this population in any of the following capacities, your expertise is invaluable: Retirement, Healthcare, Assisted Living, End-of-life care, Senior centers, Meals on wheels, Physical rehabilitation, Social engagement, Physical activity, Home Health, and Occupational therapy.

Your firsthand experience and insights are crucial in shaping effective approaches to promote the health, wellness, and overall well-being of Jefferson County seniors.
