FSSA was established by the Indiana General Assembly in 1991 to consolidate and better integrate the delivery of human services by state government. FSSA is a health care and social services funding agency. Their mission is to champion mental health promotion and substance use disorder prevention and create treatment and recovery systems that are high quality, seamlessly integrated, and accessible to the people and communities of Indiana.

NATIONAL ALLIANCE ON MENTAL ILLNESS (NAMI)
NAMI is a national organization that rural communities can partner with to advocate for sustained mental health program funding. NAMI offers support and education programs for families and individuals living with mental health conditions. NAMI recognizes that the key concepts of recovery, resiliency, and support are essential to improving the wellness and quality of life of all persons affected by mental illness.
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STATE MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM DIRECTORS
The National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD) works for mental health care on behalf of states and oversees mental health block grants within states.
